In May 2021, China embarked on the construction of national hub nodes for its integrated computing power network, thereby expediting the "East Data, West Computation" initiative. By early 2022, all eight national computing power hub nodes had secured approval, with plans for 10 national data center clusters underway, signaling the comprehensive rollout of the "East Data, West Computation" project.
