Google has inked a deal to purchase 600 megawatts (MW) of solar energy to power its data centers. This new agreement encompasses EnergyRe's solar and energy storage projects situated in South Carolina. EnergyRe boasts an impressive portfolio of energy storage projects with a combined installed capacity of 16 gigawatts (GW). Most of these projects feature solar installations ranging from approximately 60 to 75 MW, with some exceeding even these substantial capacities.
