Bain Capital has announced its intention to sell the China-based operations of WinTriX DC Group, with a projected transaction valuation exceeding $4.0 billion. This landmark deal is poised to become one of the most significant disposals of digital infrastructure assets in Asia in recent times. Bain Capital first ventured into the Chinese data center market in 2019, which, after several strategic reorganizations, evolved into WinTriX. WinTriX's China business has exhibited remarkable growth, with projections indicating an EBITDA of approximately RMB 4.0 billion by 2025.

Concurrently, WinTriX's overseas subsidiary, Bridge Data Centres, has secured $2.8 billion in financing for its expansion plans. Notably, Bain Capital intends to maintain control over its overseas operations, underscoring its commitment to the global digital infrastructure landscape.
