According to statistics released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China's software and information technology services industry reported a robust revenue of 3,147.9 billion yuan in the first quarter of this year, marking a 10.6% increase from the same period last year. Profits for the industry witnessed double-digit growth, while software business exports turned the corner, shifting from negative to positive growth. Notably, information technology services led the charge, accounting for nearly 70% of total industry revenue with 2,082 billion yuan, up 11.0% year-on-year. Cloud computing and big data services shone brightly, contributing a combined revenue of 354 billion yuan, up 11.1% year-on-year. Integrated circuit design also experienced rapid growth, with revenues surging 19.7% to 90.6 billion yuan. Additionally, revenue from information security products and services reached 48.1 billion yuan, up 8.6% year-on-year, with the growth rate accelerating. Overall, the software and information technology services industry maintains a strong and positive development trajectory.
