On April 16, Tencent Cloud unveiled plans to build its third availability zone in Osaka, Japan. This addition to its existing two zones in Tokyo will fortify a service network that spans 21 geographic regions and 56 availability zones worldwide. This strategic expansion aims to bolster support for enterprises and partners in Japan's Kansai region, further driving the development of the country's digital economy. Furthermore, Tencent Cloud will set up a new office in Osaka, aiming to generate job opportunities and foster local digital talent.
