On April 2, Chen Ronghui, Deputy Director of the National Data Administration, announced at a press conference that the Administration is collaborating with the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council to develop an action plan aimed at enhancing digital efficiency within state-owned enterprises. This initiative seeks to foster innovation in data management frameworks, amplifying the significance of data in contemporary corporate governance and digital transformation strategies. Furthermore, it will steer central enterprise digital technology firms towards integrating industry data resources, offering superior data products and services. In pivotal sectors like energy, electricity, transportation, logistics, satellite remote sensing, and new materials, the plan encourages leading enterprises to forge partnerships with upstream and downstream companies, establishing open and interconnected data ecosystems trusted by the industry. This collaborative approach will explore multi-party engagement in data product development and benefit-sharing mechanisms, facilitating the efficient circulation and collaborative utilization of enterprise data resources. This, in turn, will bolster industry supply-demand alignment, competition regulation, collaborative innovation, and market expansion. Additionally, the plan will guide central enterprises to proactively integrate data assets into their financial statements, leveraging data value mining.
