New-generation communication networks encompass mobile networks such as 5G, 5G-A, and 6G, as well as 10-gigabit optical networks and satellite internet, enabling deep integration of functions including communication, sensing, computing, and intelligence. China's new-generation communication network construction is steadily advancing, with coverage continuously expanding. These networks have been deployed in scenarios such as forest fire monitoring, mountain road management, and full-area maritime connectivity, with integrated applications continuously deepening. More than 26,000 industrial 5G private networks and 1,260 5G factories have been built, with the industrial internet covering all 41 major industrial categories and achieving remarkable results in fields such as new energy vehicle manufacturing and open-pit mining. Meanwhile, 6G technology is accelerating its transition from the laboratory to real-world application, and technologies such as multi-base-station cooperative sensing will in the future provide faster response guarantees for fields such as autonomous driving.
