NVIDIA has submitted a written proposal to U.S. broadband operator Brightspeed to convert some aging telecom central offices into small AI data centers, forming an inference network covering up to 20 U.S. states. People familiar with the matter said NVIDIA estimates these facilities have a combined available power of about 1 gigawatt.
