The Computer History Museum in Spain showcases a full-scale replica of the Cray-1 supercomputer. Instead of recreating the 1970s circuitry inside its iconic C-shaped cabinet, it houses 30 Mac minis produced between 2012 and 2014, forming a functional distributed computing cluster. The project took approximately 18 months to complete and commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Cray-1's debut and Apple's founding. Visitors can observe, through a vintage console, how programs scale from single-core execution to full-cluster parallel processing.
