HPE has confirmed that its ProLiant DL585a Gen13 server now supports NVIDIA's Rubin PCIe GPU. The current data center-grade Rubin GPU adopts the SMX form factor with a power consumption of up to 2300W, making it incompatible with direct PCIe AIC integration. If this version is used, the GPU scale would need to be halved and significantly downclocked. It is speculated that the Rubin PCIe GPU may belong to the RTX PRO series, featuring the rumored GR202 core, which shares the same origin as the next-generation GeForce gaming graphics cards. The ProLiant DL585a Gen13 server stands at a height of 10U, equipped with 2 AMD EPYC 9006 processors, supporting 8 dual-width expansion cards or 16 single-width expansion cards, and offering 16 EDSFF E3.S (Thin) drive bays.
