Oracle has adopted an innovative strategy by directly transporting natural gas to server farms via trucks to ensure the on-schedule progress of multiple data center constructions across the United States. This approach has enabled a data center in the suburbs of Salt Lake City to operate continuously for over a year while awaiting the connection of a natural gas pipeline. It has also been applied to the initial work of constructing a campus for OpenAI in Shackelford County, Texas. Currently, Oracle is considering employing this strategy for the 'Project Jupiter' data center project in New Mexico to address delays in the local natural gas pipeline infrastructure, ensuring the project can go online in its early stages before the pipeline becomes operational.
