According to sources familiar with the matter, SoftBank-backed DayOne Data Centers plans to conduct an IPO in the United States, aiming to raise up to $5 billion, and to list American depositary shares on Nasdaq by the end of this year at the latest. The company filed its IPO prospectus with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday. The documents show that DayOne, headquartered in Singapore, saw its revenue more than triple year-on-year in the first half of this year, reaching $512 million, but its net loss for the same period also widened from $13.5 million to $81.9 million.
