Data property rights registration serves as a formal means of identification for data, an intangible asset. In accordance with the Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan, China is set to establish a unified national system for registering data property rights. On the 21st, reporters obtained information from the National Data Administration indicating that the initial batch of data property rights registration certificates in China has been progressively issued. As a result, 56 enterprises and institutions have now secured valid documentation affirming their rights to hold, utilize, and operate data. Among the first group to receive these certificates are state-owned enterprises, public institutions, and private enterprises, spanning over 10 industries, including healthcare, transportation, information technology, and scientific research.
