According to a research report released by CITIC Securities, the Huawei Full Connect Conference took place in Shanghai from September 17 to 19. During this event, Huawei highlighted that super nodes have emerged as the predominant form of computing power infrastructure in the era of Agentic AI, with the Ascend series of chips playing a pivotal role. Notably, the Ascend 950 has already achieved widespread commercialization, while the 960DT and PR versions are set for an earlier-than-expected launch. Furthermore, Huawei introduced the industry's inaugural super node leveraging NPO technology, dubbed the 'Ascend 960 Super Node,' which is anticipated to enter the market in the third quarter of 2027. Presently, domestic computing power is undergoing rapid iteration, with Ascend spearheading the shift towards 'optical advancement over copper' and placing its bets on NPO technology. It is prudent to keep a close eye on investment opportunities within Huawei's optical interconnect industry chain.
