The three principal A-share indices—the Shanghai Composite Index, the Shenzhen Component Index, and the ChiNext Index—all concluded the trading session with gains. Specifically, the Shanghai Composite Index advanced by 0.71%, the Shenzhen Component Index climbed by 1.26%, and the ChiNext Index surged by 1.96%. The computing power and semiconductor sectors stood out with robust performances, as exemplified by GRINM Semiconductor Materials and Liangmicroelectronics, both of which soared to their daily price ceilings. Additionally, Yinet Technologies witnessed an impressive increase of over 6%, while Cambricon and ZTE Corporation also experienced significant upticks, each rising by more than 5%. Conversely, the construction machinery and consumer goods sectors faced notable downturns, with Sany Heavy Industry plummeting by over 6%, and Juxing Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, as well as Muyuan Foods, each declining by more than 3%.
