Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced that, as a result of the disruptions caused by attacks amid the US-Iran tensions, access to data at certain data centers in the Persian Gulf region remains impaired. At present, data access is unavailable solely at the Bahrain data center and within specific network segments in the UAE. The majority of customers have managed to resume their operations by leveraging backups or migrating to alternative solutions. Nevertheless, there persists one availability zone in the UAE where data access remains unattainable. The AWS team is diligently working on restoring resources in two additional availability zones and anticipates providing updates on the progress of the Bahrain facility's restoration in the early part of next year.
