This attack bypasses traditional mechanisms for detecting malicious file downloads and email attachments. It tricks Windows and Mac users by creating realistic system error pop-ups on mainstream websites, induce [inducing] users to voluntarily open system terminals and paste malicious commands for execution, enabling covert infiltration and allowing victims to 'hack their own devices.'
