Multiple cybersecurity agencies have issued urgent warnings: A new social engineering attack, 'ClickFix,' is spreading globally. This attack bypasses traditional mechanisms for detecting malicious file downloads and email attachments. It tricks Windows and Mac users by creating realistic system error pop-ups on mainstream websites, induce [inducing] users to voluntarily open system terminals and paste malicious commands for execution, enabling covert infiltration and allowing victims to 'hack their own devices.'
