On September 12, during the keynote session of the China Computing Power Conference, Academician Wu Hequan of the Chinese Academy of Engineering highlighted that intelligent agents are propelling the surge in token consumption. By March of this year, the average daily token consumption had soared to 140 trillion. He noted that the efficiency of token consumption has significantly improved, leading to a reduction in the costs associated with token applications in China, thereby fostering broader adoption. Token consumption, he explained, is directly correlated with the demand for computing power. Presently, China's computing power constitutes 21% of the global total, whereas the United States holds a 46% share. According to strategic plans, China aims to elevate its computing power to account for 30% of the global total by 2030.
