In response to long-standing user complaints about unstable Bluetooth connections, abnormal device recognition, and poor audio experience, Microsoft is undertaking the largest-scale repair of the Windows 11 Bluetooth system in recent years. The latest test version has validated nine key improvements, including: enhanced pairing speed and stability for devices like AirPods and Beats; improved mute status synchronization logic to resolve inconsistencies between system mute and headset status; optimized voice call experience to eliminate stuttering; reduced audio output delay after enabling the microphone on low-latency audio devices; fixed stuttering and crashes on the Bluetooth settings page; optimized Bluetooth reconnection mechanisms to reduce reconnection time after device wake-up and resolve device switching issues. This update is compatible with most new Bluetooth headsets, and Microsoft is expected to continue rolling out improvements in the coming months.
