From September 1 to 2, 2026, Liu Liehong, Director of the National Data Administration, led a team to Inner Mongolia for an investigation. The team visited multiple data centers, platforms, industrial parks, and academic institutions to understand the progress of the market-oriented allocation reform of data elements in the region. As an important hub node of China's 'Compute East, Store West' project, Inner Mongolia is leveraging its own advantages to advance the construction of a computing power network and the cultivation of the data industry. It is exploring new pathways to transform its energy and computing power resource advantages into the value of data elements, aiming to enhance the efficiency and quality of data element work.
