On September 2, the Lianyungang Municipal People’s Government entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with China Tower Corporation’s Jiangsu Branch. Mayor Zhou Jin held discussions with Guo Zhengping, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Tower Jiangsu Branch, along with his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, Mayor Zhou Jin expressed his aspiration for both parties to leverage this agreement as a catalyst to jointly drive the advancement of industries such as artificial intelligence and security. He emphasized the importance of proactively planning the deployment of digital infrastructure, facilitating the transition from traditional "communication towers" to versatile "digital towers" and "security towers." Furthermore, he highlighted the need to support the development of smart cities, enhance public safety governance, and foster the growth of the marine and low-altitude economies, ultimately achieving mutual benefits and a win-win scenario for all involved.
