Recently, Google announced that it will expand its global network infrastructure in the Americas by launching three new submarine cable systems: Alisios, Canoa, and OlaLuz. Alisios will connect the Dominican Republic, Panama, and Chile; Canoa will connect the Dominican Republic and Bermuda; and OlaLuz will directly connect the Dominican Republic to Florida, USA. These new routes will form the 'Inter-Americas' network together with previously invested cables.
