Tencent has unveiled its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, revealing that its revenue for the quarter soared to 204.785 billion yuan, representing an 11% year-on-year (YoY) surge. Breaking down the figures, game revenue experienced an 11% YoY uptick, with domestic game revenue surging by 17% and international game revenue climbing by 4% at constant exchange rates. Meanwhile, revenue from marketing services witnessed a 22% YoY hike, and financial technology and enterprise services revenue grew by 9% YoY. This growth in the latter segment was fueled by the incremental contribution of AI to cloud services, the expansion of international business, and a heightened demand for general cloud services. The non-IFRS operating profit stood at 75.64 billion yuan, up 9% YoY; excluding the impact of new AI products, it rose by 19% YoY to reach 86.1 billion yuan. Capital expenditures amounted to 52.78 billion yuan, marking a significant 176% YoY increase.
