The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) in the United States, in collaboration with Silicon Data, has officially declared its intention to introduce two innovative computing power futures products on October 5. These products, namely the Silicon Data H100 Leasing Index Futures and the Silicon Data B200 Leasing Index Futures, are designed to mirror the indices representing the hourly leasing expenses associated with GPUs (Graphics Processing Units). The futures contracts are set to be listed on the CME platform and will adhere to the regulatory framework established by the New York Mercantile Exchange. However, their formal implementation remains contingent upon obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
