On August 10, Anthropic, Macquarie Asset Management, and the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) announced a strategic partnership to jointly establish the “Theseus Infrastructure” platform. This platform focuses on the development and operation of data center infrastructure and will be leased to Anthropic under a long-term agreement. The three parties will collaborate on site selection and advance the development of new projects, with Anthropic serving as the primary tenant, initially focusing on the U.S. market. Funds under Macquarie Asset Management and GIC will jointly hold the platform and provide the majority of equity funding for the projects.
