On August 10th, news broke that Alibaba Cloud has embraced a fully modular design approach, dramatically slashing the delivery timeline for sizable AIDC data centers down to a swift 100 days. To put this into perspective, the conventional delivery period in China typically spans from 6 to 12 months, whereas in the United States, it stretches even longer, ranging from 12 to 18 months. Additionally, Alibaba Cloud has successfully trimmed the construction expenses for its data centers by more than 10%. Looking ahead, Alibaba Cloud has ambitious plans to more than double its global production capacity for modular data centers this year.
