According to a research report from CITIC Construction Investment, the soaring demand for high-frequency and high-speed computing capabilities is poised to drive the widespread adoption of electronic-grade PTFE materials. PTFE stands out for its exceptional thermal stability, chemical inertness, and superior dielectric properties. At present, there is a notable surge in demand for PTFE across three key sectors: the military industry, high-speed server cables, and high-speed circuit boards. As the launch date for NVIDIA's next-generation server, the Rubin Ultra, draws near, the industry is actively assessing the viability of utilizing PTFE materials for orthogonal backplanes. Notably, domestic firm Shengyi Technology is actively participating in the verification process. CITIC Construction Investment forecasts that as the need for high-frequency and high-speed data transmission in computing infrastructure continues to escalate, the range of downstream applications for PTFE could undergo a significant transformation.
