Following a year-long "emergency halt" on the construction of new data centers in Seattle, USA, Amazon has, for the first time, comprehensively disclosed its annual water consumption figures for data centers worldwide. This move has raised external concerns regarding resource consumption in infrastructure amid the artificial intelligence era.
