Recently, Meituan rolled out its 'Food Safety Government-Enterprise Collaborative Governance Platform' in Guangdong, implementing a 'platform-led detection - regulatory alert - collaborative response' approach to bolster the effectiveness of food safety oversight in the online catering realm. In April of this year, Meituan pioneered the nation's inaugural platform of this nature and has since forged a food safety data-sharing system with more than 160 regulatory entities spanning 28 provinces nationwide. This system facilitates daily dynamic updates of food safety intelligence and aids in conducting online investigations and removing non-compliant merchants from the platform.
