Goldman Sachs' report points out that spending by hyperscale data center operators in the AI sector may significantly exceed market expectations. According to Goldman Sachs analysts' forecasts, by 2027, the capital expenditures of these operators could reach approximately $1.1 trillion, or climb to $1.4 trillion under optimistic scenarios, compared to Wall Street's expectations of around $920 billion. Goldman Sachs also predicts that by 2030, token consumption will grow 24-fold, primarily driven by the rise of enterprise agents. The increase in token consumption will boost demand for computing power, thereby stimulating investment in data centers, chips, networking equipment, and power infrastructure.
