SoftBank Group has declared its intention to invest a staggering €75 billion in constructing a data center cluster in France, representing its most substantial investment in AI infrastructure across Europe. The ambitious project is set to develop and manage data centers boasting a cumulative capacity of 5 gigawatts. During the initial phase, cutting-edge computing facilities will be erected in Dunkirk, Bosquet, and Bouchain, with the goal of supplying 3.1 gigawatts of computing power to support the Hauts-de-France region by 2031.
