Dell Technologies has clinched a massive $9.69 billion deal with the Pentagon. The contract is a fixed-price, blanket purchase agreement aimed at streamlining and integrating software procurement processes for the Pentagon, the intelligence community, and the Coast Guard. The agreement allows customers to purchase Microsoft software licenses, cloud subscriptions, and Software Assurance services. The U.S. Department of Defense stated that it is already using Microsoft products, and with the adoption of tiered Microsoft 365 licenses, the demand for cloud and hybrid capabilities is on the rise.
