On May 21st, it was reported that as of the end of March this year, the total number of 5G base stations across the country had soared to 4.958 million. Mobile phones rely on these base stations to transmit information seamlessly. Simultaneously, the deployment of gigabit optical networks is also gaining momentum. By the end of 2025, the cumulative length of optical cable lines nationwide is projected to reach 74.99 million kilometers—a distance nearly equivalent to 100 round trips between the Earth and the Moon. As a strategic, forward-looking industry layout outlined in the '15th Five-Year Plan', 6G has garnered significant attention. Following the historical trend of mobile communication technology, which typically advances once every decade, 6G is anticipated to officially enter commercial use around 2030. By 2035, it is expected to foster an industry and application ecosystem worth trillions of yuan.
