China is taking proactive steps to establish a series of state-of-the-art standards within the data realm. Relevant entities have already crafted 12 national guiding technical documents tailored for the integrated national computing power network, in addition to 7 national standards. Furthermore, they have embarked on research endeavors for over a hundred more standards, thereby cementing a robust data foundation essential for the advancement of artificial intelligence.
Liu Liehong, the Director of the National Data Administration, articulated that by 2026, the National Data Standardization Technical Committee is poised to formulate a minimum of 80 national standards and technical documents. Moreover, it aims to publish at least 30 pivotal standards and actively foster the inception of 2-3 international standards.
