On May 6, 2026, NVIDIA and Corning announced a long-term partnership aimed at enhancing the manufacturing capacity of U.S. AI infrastructure. According to the agreement, Corning will build three new advanced manufacturing facilities in North Carolina and Texas, increasing U.S. optical connectivity production capacity by 10 times, boosting fiber optic output by over 50%, and creating more than 3,000 high-paying jobs.
