The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has recently unveiled the "Typical Application Practices of 5G Factories in 2025," pinpointing 100 outstanding projects from a nationwide pool of 1,260 5G factories, collectively known as the "Top 100 5G Factories." This milestone signifies a fresh chapter in China's "5G+Industrial Internet" journey, shifting from isolated initial innovations to systematic deployments, widespread adoption, and value-driven intensification. This endeavor not only stands as a testament to substantial progress in industrial digitization during the 14th Five-Year Plan era but also paves the way for a structured rollout of an enhanced "5G+Industrial Internet" framework in the 15th Five-Year Plan period, fueling the advancement of a new industrialization model.
