Police forces across Europe, as well as from various countries around the globe, have collaborated in a sweeping initiative, dispatching emails and letters to more than 75,000 individuals suspected of cybercriminal activities. These communications sternly demand that the recipients immediately stop utilizing "pay-as-you-go" DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) platforms to launch cyberattacks, which have the potential to render websites and online services inoperative. This large-scale operation, orchestrated by Europol, zeroed in on platforms that provide DDoS attack services. By conducting raids and seizing servers, law enforcement agencies acquired backend data, facilitating the identification and subsequent warning of pertinent users. Throughout the course of this operation, the police also carried out 24 search warrants, apprehended four individuals implicated in the crimes, and took down 53 associated domain names.
