Nuclea Energy, a company focused on developing nuclear microreactors for off-grid markets and data centers, submitted an IPO application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday, planning to raise up to $50 million. Its core product, the "Morpheus microreactor," is a transportable, factory-prefabricated nuclear reactor with a sealed core, designed specifically for remote Arctic regions in Canada, Indigenous communities, mining and resource extraction industries, data centers, critical infrastructure, as well as defense and national security applications. Currently, the company is still in the product development stage and has not yet generated revenue.
