On April 10, reports indicated that in February this year, the State Council granted approval for the Hebei Xiong'an High-Tech Industrial Development Zone to be upgraded to a national high-tech zone. Following this approval, the total number of national high-tech zones across China has climbed to 179. These zones have emerged as pivotal platforms for the seamless integration of technological and industrial innovation, serving as the primary battlegrounds for fostering high-tech industries. They play a crucial role in bolstering China's pursuit of advanced technological self-sufficiency and prowess, driving forward the process of new industrialization, and nurturing new, high-quality productive forces.
