At the Chinese Wind Energy New Year's Symposium, Qin Haiyan, Secretary-General of the Wind Energy Professional Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society, stated that the integration of computing power and green electricity has become a trend, and the future electricity demand of data centers will experience significant growth. It is projected that by 2025, the number of data centers in China will exceed 9 million racks, and by 2030, it will surpass 33 million racks. Over the next five years, the annual increase in electricity consumption for data centers will exceed 380 billion kilowatt-hours, necessitating 175GW of installed wind power capacity to meet their electricity demands.
