On January 21, Zhang Yunming, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, announced at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that, according to preliminary estimates, China’s digital industry revenue is projected to reach roughly RMB 38.3 trillion by the end of 2025. Profits are expected to reach RMB 3.1 trillion, marking cumulative growth of approximately 39.5% and 48.4%, respectively, compared to 2020 figures.
