On Tuesday, the South Korean National Assembly is slated to initiate a two-day hearing to scrutinize the significant data breach at e-commerce behemoth Coupang. This incident impacted nearly two-thirds of South Korea's populace. The hearing, which will see the collective involvement of six parliamentary committees, such as the Committee on Science, ICT, and Broadcasting, is designed to delve into the data breach incident and scrutinize Coupang's purported unfair business practices. At present, 13 current and former executives from Coupang have been earmarked as witnesses for the upcoming hearing.
