On the evening of December 22, 2025, the Kuaishou platform experienced a premeditated and large-scale cyber gray and black production attack orchestrated by overseas organizations. The attackers utilized automated tools to manipulate tens of thousands of bot accounts, flooding the platform with a massive volume of illegal content, such as pornography and vulgarity, in a short period, causing the platform's review system to temporarily paralyze. The attack originated from South America and Southeast Asia, with traffic displaying distinct machine-behavior characteristics, entirely inconsistent with the operational habits of genuine users. Upon detecting the attack, the Kuaishou platform swiftly activated its emergency response plan, restricting live streaming access, banning violation (violating) accounts, and ultimately shutting down the live streaming channel to regain control. This attack exposed significant vulnerabilities in Kuaishou's risk control and defense system when facing extreme security attacks. It also revealed that cyber gray and black production has fully entered the era of 'automated attacks,' posing a severe challenge to the operational security of platforms. Technical analysis by China Telecom's security team confirmed that this was a precise raid launched by overseas organizations, rather than sporadic hacker disruptions or a self-directed act by the platform.
