On December 4, the latest data released by the National Data Administration revealed that, by the end of the third quarter, China had constructed high-quality datasets with a total volume exceeding 500 petabytes (PB). These datasets provide robust support for enhancing the performance and accelerating the innovation of artificial intelligence (AI) models. Liu Liehong, the Director of the National Data Administration, emphasized that high-quality datasets are a pivotal resource for driving digital and intelligent innovation. Collaborating with 26 ministries and commissions, the National Data Administration has actively promoted the construction of these datasets, deployed 140 pilot projects, and fostered an environment where "the construction and application of high-quality datasets seamlessly follow wherever 'AI+' initiatives are implemented."
