Recently, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella remarked that at present, Microsoft is short of the necessary space and energy to bring in additional computing power, as the industry is grappling with a problem of "power overload". Owing to the insufficient power supply, numerous AI chips are merely sitting in warehouses, unable to be connected for operation. This has led to another kind of "computing power surplus". Nadella emphasized that Microsoft's inability to utilize these chips is primarily due to the lack of suitable rack environments where they can be installed. Given the skyrocketing power consumption requirements of NVIDIA's rack-level architectures, the limitations between energy supply and computing capacity have become increasingly evident. As of now, global investment in expanding power infrastructure and data centers is still falling short.
