On September 10th, coinciding with Alibaba's 26th anniversary, Gaode Map, a subsidiary of Alibaba, unveiled the world's inaugural list generated from user behavior data—the 'Gaode Street Exploration List'. This groundbreaking initiative is designed to create a novel offline service credit framework and robustly support the consumption of offline dining and services. Alongside this, Gaode initiated the 'Local Business Support Program', allocating over 1 billion yuan in subsidies and implementing additional strategies to entice users to dine in physical establishments. The aim is to attract an extra 10 million customers daily to offline dining venues and other service sectors.
The Gaode Street Exploration List enjoys prominent placement on the Gaode APP's homepage. At its heart lies a commitment to uphold the list's authenticity and credibility through a blend of user 'behavior and credit', rendering artificial score inflation impossible. The list integrates genuine travel data and reliable reviews into its assessments, converting them into credit assets for merchants and shielding them from deceptive practices such as 'score inflation for increased traffic'.
Guo Ning, CEO of Gaode Map, emphasized that the Street Exploration List will remain steadfastly non-commercialized, with authenticity serving as its lifeblood. Furthermore, the Gaode Street Exploration List has released its inaugural 'Local Business List', spotlighting 2,962 local businesses across 61 cities nationwide.
