Prior to migration, the tool connects to the existing virtualization environment to perform pre-checks, leveraging change block tracking technology to create virtual machine replicas. This approach ensures a seamless migration process with minimal downtime. Furthermore, the VM Conversion Tool supports multi-disk configurations and is capable of migrating virtual machines running either Windows or Linux, catering to enterprises aiming to maintain operational continuity while planning a comprehensive transition to the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
