On August 23, the 2025 China Computing Power Conference commenced in Datong, Shanxi, under the theme "Laying the Foundation for Computing Networks and Steering the Future with Intelligence." During his keynote address, Xiong Jijun, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), announced plans to deepen the integration of computing power across diverse industries and foster a robust ecosystem for the computing power sector. Specifically, a tailored campaign will be initiated to empower sectors like education, healthcare, and energy, fostering the development of groundbreaking technological products and solutions. Additionally, MIIT will advance the construction of the "Intelligent Computing Ecosystem," implement a specialized "millisecond computing" initiative in major urban areas, and expedite the development of China's computing power platforms.
