During the sub-forum titled "Charting the Future: From Cloud to Intelligent Computing," Zhao Ce, Deputy Director of the Information and Communication Development Department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), disclosed that by the end of June 2025, China's operational computing power centers had amassed 10.85 million standard racks, with intelligent computing power reaching a scale of 788 EFLOPS. Zhao Ce underscored that the national computing power strategy would continue to undergo optimization, fostering a measured advancement in the construction of intelligent computing infrastructure while maintaining a dynamic equilibrium. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of tightening project approval oversight in regions where computing power utilization remains low.
