The Financial Times reported on Wednesday that JPMorgan Chase and Japan's MUFG are engaged in negotiations to underwrite a massive $22 billion loan for the construction of a data center in Texas. The project, spearheaded by Vantage Data Centers, is primarily owned by Silver Lake Capital and the asset management firm DigitalBridge. Additionally, the report revealed that Silver Lake Capital and DigitalBridge will collectively contribute $3 billion in equity to fund the development of this state-of-the-art data center facility.
